The  Sports Hut policies regarding credits prior to October 15^th, 2011

 

Although the name remains the same, the Sports Hut is a new business under new ownership.  As a courtesy to customers of the previous business we have formulated a policy regarding any outstanding obligations from the previous business.    Thank you for your understanding in these matters.

 

Consignment Sales

We will honor consignment sale credits which were completed after November of 2010.  The credit has to be redeemed on full price merchandise off the retail price.  No other discounts can apply to the purchase.  After December 31^st, 2011 all consignment sale obligations which occurred before October of 2011 will be void.   The consignment card has to be in our records for any credit to be honored.  This is a merchandise credit only; no cash will be issued for consignment credits.  All sales are final when a consignment credit is used for the purchase.

Trade in Program

We will honor the trade in program from the previous business on ski and snowboard equipment purchased during the 2010-2011 ski season.  All trade-ins must be accompanied by the original receipt.  We have no records of purchases made last year to verify pricing or date of purchase.  We will continue the trade-in program going into the future.  All trade-ins from last season expire 12-31-11.  We will continue to offer consignment sales for your equipment that does not qualify for a trade-in as long as it meets our trade-in criteria.

Gift Certificates

We have limited access to gift card purchase records during 2011.  We will do our best to honor Gift Cards issued after January 1^st, 2011.  Again, we must be able to verify the gift card amount in order to honor them.  We will only honor the amount of credit left in the records were able to access and have on hand.   Keep in mind that the money for these Gift Card sales were collected by the previous company.  We did not receive any compensation for these cards and are allowing redemption as a service to our customers.

Other Credits

We are sorry, but we cannot honor other store credits from the previous business.  We have no records or means to verify any other credits.  Also, we cannot accept returns purchased from the previous Sports Hut.  We may be able to process warranty issues on products from the previous business on a case by case basis.
