Reborn the Sports Hut, this store is locally owned and located in Wayzata, Minn. Our goal is to provide quality name products, expert product knowledge, a friendly, family atmosphere and great customer service at the best values possible. We stand behind our products and offer extensive maintenance programs and how-to instruction classes.

At Sports Hut, we guarantee the performance of the products we sell. If your purchase does not perform its intended use to your satisfaction, we will happily replace it or refund your purchase price with a smile.

We do require a purchase receipt with all returns, and we request return of unused gear within 30 days of purchase.

Guaranteed Boot and Skate Fit
We will do our very best to fit your boots and skates properly at the time of purchase, but we recognize that occasionally a pressure point or sore spot might develop. We guarantee that we will make your boots and skates fit to your satisfaction or we will either replace, exchange or refund your purchase price with a smile.

We do require a purchase receipt with all adjustments and returns.

Sports Hut Guaranteed Trade-in Program
Designed for families with growing children; our Guaranteed Trade-in Program will help families manage sports equipment during the growing years. As your kids grow in size or performance our program provides credit towards your sporting needs. Sports Hut guarantees buyback credit on selected sports equipment purchased when your child outgrows the gear in size or performance within 1 year:

Snowboards/Bindings/Boots – 40% credit
Hockey Skates – 35% credit
Figure Skates – 35% credit
Inline Skates – 35% credit
Skis/Bindings/Boots/Poles – 50% credit (35% credit within 2 years)
Bikes – 40% credit (30% credit within 2 years)

Our Layaway Program
We offer a layaway program for our customers with purchase of $100 or more with a 25% down payment, giving you three months to pay off the balance, with a minimum of one payment per month. This program is available for new, non- sale merchandise only.

The goal of our Sports Hut Community Partnership program is to assist your non-profit community organization in their fund raising efforts, and help them meet their goal.

Here is how it works:
Your group designates a person to be responsible for collecting and totaling original Sports Hut receipts. Receipts collected from any retail (non-team) store-wide purchases will be exchanged for a Sports Hut gift certificate valued at 5% of the total receipts collected, excluding sales tax

Here are the qualifications:
-Your group must be a registered 501C3 charitable community organization.

-Sports Hut receipts must be dated within one year of presentation to Sports Hut for exchange.

-Receipts must be originals, not copies; individuals must make and retain copies for their own tax and warranty records. Receipts will not be returned by Sports Hut.

-Gift certificates must be used within one year of issue date. No cash refunds will be given for any unused balance. Certificates may be used toward any Sports Hut in-stock merchandise or for a special order from current Sports Hut suppliers (subject to availability of merchandise).

Here is an example:
Your group collects 18 original Sports Hut sales receipts all dated within one year, totaling $9,600, not including sales tax. Sports Hut presents your group with a gift certificate for 5% of $9,600, which equals $480 and can be used for the purchase of merchandise or apparel at Sports Hut by the group or in a fund raising raffle or auction.

Junior Equipment Specialists
Many of our staff are current or past Junior coaches and instructors. We know youth sports and youth sports gear and we can help you outfit your junior athletes with the proper gear and the proper fit.

Women's-Specific Specialists
Sports Hut stocks women's-specific clothing, equipment, and accessories for all sports including biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and ice- and inline-skating, snowshoes and Nordic walking. Plus a truly great selection of women's fashion sportswear and outerwear. Let us be your wintersports headquarters!

Used Equipment Specialists
Sports Hut stocks a great selection of previously owned gear: downhill skis and boots, hockey skates, figure skates, snowboards and boots. All of which are particularly helpful for fast-growing young sports enthusiasts.

The goal of Skijammers/Boardjammers, Alpine school is to help young people learn to enjoy the sports of skiing, snowboarding and racing through the development of good skills, safety and etiquette. Skijammers is open to kids of all ages- from grade school through high school. There are Skijammers classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers. Boardjammers offers snowboarding for students at all levels of proficiency as well. For those who desire the competitive atmosphere- Skijammers offers a development racing program to help young athletes achieve goals like becoming varsity high school racers.

Ski-Away is a womens-specific program committed to helping women achieve their alpine sports potential by developing exciting programs for all levels, including Six-Week-Session learn-to-ski, intermediate and advanced ski classes, snowboard , recreational race coaching and Level 9 All-Mountain ski clinics. Sports Hut is the oldest USSA (United States Ski Association) sanctioned ski racing team in the Metro area. All team members receive a discount on all ski goods purchased at Sports Hut.

Training is based out of Buck Hill and Wild Mt ski areas. Buck Hill is a terrific training facility, with a high speed rope tow that provides as many training runs as a racer can wish for in one night. The rope tow also virtually eliminates all lift lines on the training hill, which prevents any down time. Wild Mt is known for their snow making, this is great for fall training.

On-hill instruction includes basic stance, balance, and edging drills, free skiing and free skiing drills, along with slalom and giant slalom training. Experienced coaches provide a fun, healthy, athletic atmosphere which ensures proper development. The understanding of basic techniques helps skiers of all abilities improve their skiing for life.

Team Programs

Development Team
This is our entry level program for J4 and J5 racers (age 12 and under). We accept strong wedge skiers who can ride a rope tow and manage their own equipment.

This group constitutes the main body of our organization. It is open to entry level racers. (ages 13-14)

Ability Group
This is for the experienced racer who has moved up from Age Class by winning and Age Class Race. (ages 15 and up)

Camps
Sports Hut Racing offers three different camps for extra participation on the team. Camps help the athletes hone their skills over a short period of time.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Camps
Held over Thanksgiving & Christmas weekends, this camp is great for early days of snow training that really helps the campers get back on their skis. These camps are held at Wild Mt.

Summer Camp
Let's go skiing in the summer! SPORTS HUT goes to Mt Hood, Oregon for 8 days of Giant Slalom and Slalom training. This helps racers keep an edge on the competition.
